Intensive Energy Investments bridges project preparation and institutional capital to accelerate energy independence in Southern Africa.

IEI is a Zimbabwe-based energy infrastructure investment firm focused on Zimbabwe and Southern Africa. We develop, structure, finance and invest in independent power producer projects that can supply reliable, competitively priced electricity for industry.

Our vision is a regional power sector in which viable projects reach financial close through disciplined preparation, transparent structuring and sustained institutional oversight.

Our investment philosophy balances rigorous technical feasibility with commercial bankability. Each opportunity is assessed on the strength of its engineering, its contracts and its capacity to service project debt before capital is committed.

We seek risk-adjusted returns rather than headline yield, and we prioritise projects whose readiness and governance meet the expectations of development finance institutions and co-investors.

Institutional governance and transparent oversight anchor every asset decision. Investment committee review, documented diligence standards and ongoing reporting to capital partners are built into how we operate, not added afterwards.
